More then likely if they ever came here it would be to replace CO mainline service. I don't know much about express jet though.
Why do my favorite airlines end up going defunct??http://web01.jetphotos.net/showphotos.php?userid=16657

Right now it seems like they are planning to focus on the south/southwest part of the country. I doubt they'd be able to compete very well here NWA unless they tried starting service to a new city not served from Indy now where there is demand. Maybe BNA - I don't know if there is demand for that, though. USAir dropped it several years ago. Also the fact that they fly ERJs limits them as well, I think. They do have some extended range 145s, but those planes are not comfortable for long flights.

i like what ExpressJet is doing ... however
CON--
Northwest would send Pinnacle up against it right away on any route they bring in here.
PRO--
ExpressJet is able to use already established stations it has with its flying for Continental.
CON--
Gate availability in Indianapolis. of course I guess there is room in C since AirTran isn't always making use of four full gates, leaving one gate availabe for common use.
