I don't know anyone who flies Midwest out of Indy. They have very limited service to and from their Milwaukee hub. Four flights a day on weekdays to and from MKE.
I'm just wondering how long they can last at IND. Their fares are typically above average for equivalent routes, and they only fly the 32-seat Fairchild jet out of here. So even if their planes are full, they're only pulling 128 people a day IND-MKE and 128 MKE-IND. I don't know, maybe that's enough passenger revenue miles to maintain a small workforce here.
I think NW should add IND-MKE service and just put Midwest out of its misery. For that matter, I think NW should make Kansas City another focus city, and drive Midwest out of there, too. If Midwest wants to survive long term, they might think about adding service from IND to Omaha and Kansas City without the connection in MKE.

Yea, they are ridiculous. They have awesomely low fares, but they wanted to put into MKE to go to DFW!

I thought they were going to do it but didn't but I think AirTran should go 1x daily with a 717 between the cities. At least to start. That would open alot of connection opportunities for MKE customers without having to go through ATL.
