Saw the 757-200 parked at A8 last Wed night. I came in on a CRJ from MCI and we had to walk into the terminal. N542US was parked at A8, and I was right next to the big bird. I didn't check to see where it was going the next morning, but I assume it's one of the west coast flights?

I think it is a MSP flight. I don't want to make you jealous but I'm flying on a NW 757-300 from IND on the 12th

Yeah Indy, I've been on the 753. It sure is nice. MSP probably gets 757 service because it has the most connecting passengers. The NW flights to LAS are probably all O/D.

I believe NW has two 757s on the morning schedule right now....the 757-300 to MSP and a 757-200 to DTW. They also had a DTW turn in the evenings with a 757 last month.
UA has a 757 on their schedule now too - mid-afternoon.

NW runs airbuses for the LAS flight a majority of the time, I think they have a B752 that goes there too though. DTW is a surprising flight for the B752 from here I think though

OK, makes sense that the 757 would be for MSP. It was parked for the night, so it would be for the first flight in the morning - always a busy flight, if not the fullest to MSP every weekday.
Do you think the equipment is a summer-long thing, or maybe just for the month of May?

They put a 753 on last June for regular service. The schedule kept showing them pulling a 757 (200 or 300) from the schedule but it always keeps sticking around. In fact at times I believe they have 2 on the route.

The 300 is all summer long, I flew on it in late July last year.
I saw the United 200 a couple weeks ago, is that from DEN or ORD?

I am so freggin thrilled (NOT). Found out that NW changed the equipment from a 757-300 to a 757-200. Guess there were too many open seats. This sucks. I was really looking forward to the 300.
