with all the new jobs that japan companys are creating could there ever be a n/s or direct flight to nrt?

Maybe 2010ish. New terminal will be open and the 787 will be in operation.

I doubt it, possibly a one stop (at like LAX or something) on the west coast though.

Why do my favorite airlines end up going defunct??

Why would you stop in LAX? You'd have to clear customs in that mess. Thats why you use the 787. They have a perfect configuration of just over 200 seats I believe. It could fly from IND to NRT nonstop and people could be in and out of customs here in 30 to 35 minutes. They'd be home in no time. And if they were connecting to some place else they'd have a very easy connection. That is what will make this new terminal so appealing. It would likely be the only international flight arriving at that time. You won't have a zoo in customs to deal with. No cattle call.
