It appears that November 28 will be the last day of IND - LAX. This is certainly disappointing - once again, I don't think DL scheduling tried hard enough to make this work.

I think a failure of IND-LAX would be all on Delta. The only carrier on a route that big and they can't make it work? Or maybe they didn't want to make it work? Why make it work when you can force people through that disaster called Atlanta.

This might force another carrier to add LAX service.

I just cannot imagine one of the largest markets in the US having no nonstop service from IND. That would leave the entire west coast of the United States without nonstop service. I think that would leave IND at about its lowest point in at least a decade. Anyone know when the last time was that IND was without west coast service?

I checked Delta.com and it still shows IND-LAX. I checked Monday's going all the way into mid January of 2012 and the flight is still in the system. Still shows the A320.
