Does anyone know all the facts about this 'merger?' I know there have been a few accidents relating to Valujet workers. How much has Airtran really bumped up safety?

I think AirTran or Valuejet learned a pretty tough lesson back then. Their safety record since then seems fine. Now if they could do something about their on time record.
