AirTran is loading up their schedule apparently. Starting Dec 5th the service to RSW (Fort Myers) will go to 2x daily. Both flights will be served by the 717.

Well, it was only about nine months farther along than predicted, but....*FINALLY*
I'm surprised it's not beginning earlier to take advantage of the Thanksgiving travel rush.

When it rains it pours, Ft. Myers goes 3 daily Dec. 21.

I'm not sure I agree with the 3x daily to RSW. That just seems excessive to me. What do you think?

People in Indiana LOVE Ft. Myers. I know that much. Of course AirTran knows exactly how many seats they have been selling...could be to open more seats/connections on their Atlanta flights/connections.
What is Northwest offering? Two daily?

NW is going 2x on that. Now they were supposedly going all mainline to Florida with 2x daily to the Florida destinations but it seems NW has changed that. The two RSW flights will be CRJ. No thanks. I'll take the 717 or the 737.

Most people put price over comfort. I've also noticed, like you said, when it rains it pours.
