I was looking at Monday's schedule and I see AirTran activity at gates C2, C4 and C10. What is the deal with that?

Departure
AirTran FL 389 Tampa 10:10 AM C10 On Time
Arrival
AirTran FL 420 Atlanta 8:14 PM 8:14 PM C10 On Time

As a note gates C2, C4 and C10 are the first 3 gates you will come to on the right side of concourse C. 1 & 3 are on left side and 2 & 4 on right side. Then its 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10 in clockwise fashion at the end starting with 5 on the left side.

C1 = Midwest Airlines
C2 = AirTran
C3 = Frontier
C4 = AirTran
C5 = Continental
C6 = Continental
C7 = Southwest
C9 = Southwest
C10 = AirTran?

Is it sad that I could do this without thinking about it? Smile

Hey Boofer... you are in and out of IND all the time. Is C10 in AirTran colors now? It would be the gate over by the Southwest gates. AirTran has been using it for one flight in and one flight out every day but until recently had only listed C2 and C4 on their website as their gates. They now have C10 listed as well.

Damn! I forgot to mention that from my trip last week. I noticed it too, that AirTran was using C10. They just had an old board up behind the counter - the kind with the sliding plastic numbers to post the flight and destinations, rather than the kind with the LED sign. It was looking pretty crude and rudimentary, but it DID appear that they had just started to use the gate.

Can I get a peanut crumb with that thimble of Coke?
