The new Fire House at IND was dedicated on Jan 18th. Anybody know where it is. I didn't know that they were building a new one. Kind of makes sense to me to move it though.

I've been looking at the site schematics trying to find it, but not having any luck.

Ok its in between Taxiway H and Midfield Service Rd. Plan says it is on Foxtrot Lane. Hmmmm.. That looks to be where the old one is/was. Maybe they built in the same area? It was the ideal location.

About the same place then i guess. The one thing that confuses me is that it says the south end of the bldg open up to Landside public areas for the airport

I was tooling around on the internet while i was driving last night that said there were going to be 2 firehouses? But i don't rememeber where it was now. It was an older article where one of the Officers of the AFD said they only had one Station, but soon to be 2. So are they keeping the old one, if so, where is the new one?

Why would they have two? The airport is small enough to consolidate all the operations into one building. That's interesting. Maybe they are/were going to have two as an interim thing or something.
