there been any big planes for the USGP? wouldnt be nice if NW would run a ams flight for the week so people only have to make an easy connection in Europe not in the US

Agreed, but don't throw the term "easy" around lightly. The last time I flew AMS back to the States, it took them nearly 2 hours just to board the A340. Everyone had to go through an individual interview with a security agent who asked about our visit, what we were doing in Europe, why we were going to the US, etc. It would have been easier to fly Europe to Canada or the Carribean and then come back home, I think.

Can I get a peanut crumb with that thimble of Coke?

I dont know about passenger planes, but we had the usually Singapore and other cargo 744s.

Why do my favorite airlines end up going defunct??

They might be tougher when it comes to getting on the plane but isn't that what you want? What is the point of all the checking after you've already landed?
