Indianapolis International Airport Passenger Statistics

The numbers have been published for July 2008. Here are some notes:

Top 3 carriers (percentage of market share) for July 2008.

Northwest Airlines 25%
Southwest Airlines 14%
AirTran Airways 12.9%

July 2008 saw a 2.5% increase over July 2007 (passengers served).

Through the end of July 2008 the airport has handled a total of 4,954,345 passengers. That puts the airport on pace to handle 8.49 million passengers.

July 2008 marks only the 2nd month this year that the airport has met or exceeded the monthly passenger forecast.

Northwest Airlines is on pace to pass 2 million passengers served.
