Looking at FlighAware right now, shows TRS8602 DEN-LAF was supposed to leave DEN at 1450 EST, arrive at LAF 1644 EST, has not left Denver yet. I don't know if this is a fluke or if it is real, but if it ever gets off the ground and does head out here, I'll be on my way to the airport! It's currently 1551 EST, so I don't know what's up with it.

UPDATE!

TRS 8602 Just left DEN at 16:06 EST and is due at LAF at 18:00 EST. I'll be heading over there, but can't promise a picture since the weather is crap.

Equipment for the flight is a 737-700. I still have no idea what it is for...anyone have any ideas?

I was able to see the 737 (with winglets!) arrive, pretty cool sight to see the thrust reversers kicking up spray on the wet runway. I was listening to approach and tower on the scanner, and the pilot missed the glideslope for the ILS 10 approach the first time...executed the missed approach to the Boiler VOR, then came back and successfully shot the approach...was cool to see, but no pics because of the rain, sorry.

Isn't it to pick up the men's basketball team? I think their game is in Denver for the NCAA tournament.

Why do my favorite airlines end up going defunct??
