IBJ.com, Saturday July 26th
Article in this week's IBJ talks about how the airport plans to capture more of the parking revenue for itself. They'll charge less to park in the garage than they do currently, but with all the extra capacity, they plan to increase revenues from parking by 25% in 2009. There's also a good description of the garage and how it's laid out, and a nice picture of the unfinished garage. It's going to really be first-class.

That parking garage looks really cool. That thing is going to be huge. You'll almost need ground transportation in the parking garage. Unlike the current garage which has 3 ways across this one only has one. And it is much larger. It is going to make for quite a hike.

It has moving sidewalks running down the center all the way into the terminal. It will be very nice. I for one will always be parking in the garage whether short term or long term, especially for just $16 per day.
