After flying this route for a few years, a lot has changed.
In 2005 flew ATA 757-300 to RSW and back.
2006 flew DC-9 on Northwest direct and back
2007 flew 757 to DTW, 757 to IND, DC-9 back to DTW, 757 to IND (NWA)
2008 flew DC-9 Northwest direct and back
2009 flew Mesaba CRJ-900 direct and back
Mesaba 3525 KIND-KRSW. Departed gate A-10 at IND. The CRJ-900 was in Delta colors. We used the same gate when coming back from RSW.
I uploaded a few pictures of the CRJ-900. Sat in first class. Fairly new aircraft and was very comfortable. Mesaba did a great job.

DL is flying RSW? Oh wait you said 2009 right? Do you remember when in 2009 exactly?

Oh yeah! Sorry I didn't specify! This flight was Friday March 13, 2009 on Mesaba. Delta colors down to RSW and good old NWA colors on the CRJ-900 on the way back.
