I am looking for some good IND photos. If you have them please contribute them to the Album. I'm thinking of offering a reward for photos of the US hub operation in IND. What do you think?

BTW, I recall reading/hearing that the new tower was the tallest in the country, something like 330 feet. Can anyone confirm that? The explanation for its height, of course, is because it's needed to see all of the airport grounds as construction of the new terminal takes place.

I am flying out of IND today. If we taxi by the tower I'll attempt to get a photo. Also the Star News article had the tower listed as 340 and being one of the tallest in the world.

Yep, thanks for that. I saw the Star article after I posted. I do believe the tower IS the tallest in the USA, but I'll try to confirm that to be sure. A little trivia we can proudly share with out-of-towners.

I was driving on I-70 east again recently, and it seems like you get the best vantage of the new tower from there or from that service road that runs between the interstate and the airport (don't know what road that is). But if anyone is out that way anytime soon, that would be a great place to take a pic of the new tower.

Any idea what the new ATL tower will be? I drove by there a week ago or so and that thing is a monster.
