The AA Connection flight departing Indianapolis for St. Louis on Trans States during the noon hour continues after its brief stop to Sarasota. Faremeasure seems to be steadfast on its 175 - 180 range of daily travelers from Indy to Sarasota, but the 717 going down on AirTran won't hold as much. The advertising of it as the only direct flight offered outside of the only daily nonstop flight to this popular market with Indy travelers might help out load factors on that route. Very smart on Trans States' & AA's part.

Does AA let you stay on the jet like Southwest does or do they make everyone get off and then come back on to continue the flight?

I believe they let you stay on the plane as my own experiences with their announcements for the passengers continuing on to the next same plane destination.

Then again, this is Trans States, might be different, but somehow I do doubt it.
