I had noticed the Las Vegas and Los Angeles routes still on the AirTran route map but didn't know when they were going to run so I contacted the airline about the routes. This is what I discovered.

Both routes are seasonal with the airline. The Las Vegas route is a spring route and Los Angeles is a summer route. The Vegas route according to the email already ran but due to economic conditions the Los Angeles route didn't run this summer.

According to the email both routes are expected to return in 2010. This is from AirTran media relations.
