Just an example of how a strategy that's successful in one market doesn't always pan out in another. Seems like the proximity to Kansas City's big airport with its several carrier choices and good fares to LAS was too much to overcome. Topeka is an easy 75 mile drive to MCI. I wonder if there are other Allegiant airports similarly situated - i.e., small airport about 75 highway miles from a big airport. Rockford to ORD certainly fits the bill, but Allegiant seems to be doing well enough at RFD. Maybe ORD is just TOO big lol...

Can I get a peanut crumb with that thimble of Coke?
